| Topsoil | Screened loam. |
| Compost |
Dark rich organic material made from leaves, grass clippings, and horse manure. Compost tilled into existing gardens can improve the soil and give amazing results to plant growth. The loose consistency of this soil amendment allows the plants roots to easily be established. This allows the plant to retrieve the much-needed nutrition from the soil and encourage proper growth. Compost is also excellent for planting and transplanting bushes, trees and shrubs. (This material may contain small amounts of debris because it is made mainly from leaves, which are collected from the local municipality. We put in a lot of effort to reduce the presence of debris but it's impossible to eliminate it all.) |
