Located
in rural Stafford Springs, Academy Farm is a family-owned and run outlet
for quality landscape materials and supplies, fall garden mums, and
feed for most farm animals and pets as well as wild birds. The growing
business was established in 1995 primarily as a leaf composting business
recycling leaves for the local municipality on site. The finished product
being a dark rich soil amendment to be used in gardens and landscapes
for planting and transplanting as well as improving poor soils.
Since
1995 Academy Farm has grown to carry a variety of high quality landscape
supplies and feed catering to homeowners, do-it-yourselfers, landscapers,
contractors, as well as the hobby farmer and pet owner. Products can
be picked up during business hours or delivery can be arranged by calling.
